Biography

As Managing Partner of the firm, Justin brings more than two decades of experience in tax, financial planning, and accounting information systems to his leadership role. With 21 years of hands-on experience as a tax accountant and more than a decade in firm leadership, Justin guides strategy, oversees client engagements, and supports the continued growth and direction of the practice.
 
Justin specializes in financial planning, taxation, and accounting information systems, areas in which he blends deep technical expertise with a passion for helping clients make confident, informed decisions. Whether he’s advising on tax-minimization strategies or designing accounting workflows that support long-term goals, Justin is known for explaining complex topics in a way clients can understand and act on. His work is grounded in a simple philosophy: use accounting every day to help people reach their financial goals. 
 
A licensed CPA, Justin holds dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting and Management from Georgia College & State University, as well as dual Master of Accountancy degrees in Taxation and Accounting Information Systems from the University of Georgia. His commitment to excellence has earned him recognition, including the AICPA IMTA Standing Ovation Award. He is an active member of Gideons International and the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section. 
 
Born in Orange Park, Florida, Justin moved often throughout his childhood before eventually settling in Eastman, Georgia, where he has lived since 2010 with his wife, Maria. Outside of his professional work, he serves on the Board of Directors for First Love Ministries and is an ordained minister. 
 
When he’s not working with clients or leading the firm, Justin enjoys cooking at a professional level (a true hidden talent), reading, exploring ministry opportunities, and hiking in the fall. 

Fun Facts about Justin

  • His favorite dessert is tiramisu, and his go-to ice cream flavor is Bruster’s Blueberry Cheesecake.
  • Not surprisingly, considering his career path, math was always his favorite subject in school. 
  • His favorite book is The Bible, his favorite author is the apostle Paul, and his dream vacation is to Israel.
  • His favorite number is 1, “the unit of measure and conversion,” a true accountant’s answer.
